Relevant experience matters more than a familiar title.
These are the proposed standards for assessing practitioners and assignments. We are forming the network; no available adviser bench, named profiles or completed vetting is claimed here.

The evidence behind a suitable assignment.
Context before title
Experience must relate to the question, function, business stage and India/global interface. A senior role alone does not establish the required specialism.
Attributable delivery
Understand what the practitioner personally designed, decided or delivered, what happened and what they would approach differently. Accept only evidence they have permission to share.
Boundaries and specialist review
Identify where the practitioner’s competence ends. Legal, tax, regulated, technical or licensed-data conclusions need appropriately qualified specialists and a separate scope where necessary.
Permission and conflicts
Check employer restrictions, confidentiality duties, client conflicts and commercial relationships. The practitioner must be able to decline unsuitable work.
Assignment readiness
Agree availability, preparation, written outputs, review expectations and compensation before an assignment. A willingness to talk is not a commitment to deliver a decision pack.
Accountable technical review
Agree who reviews the professional substance and how unresolved issues reach the sponsor. Review must be appropriate to the subject and separate from website publication checks.
Three roles, three separate choices.
A community member may exchange perspectives. An editorial contributor may share a leadership experience. An adviser would accept defined responsibilities under an agreed assignment.
None of these roles automatically grants the others. Relationships within the community are not a verified supply of advisers.
For practitioners considering an application
Describe your own work without sharing confidential client or employer material. India/GCC experience can be stated honestly, including where you have none.
Apply voluntarily as an adviser. Applying does not guarantee selection, work, a public listing or compensation. Those matters require a separate agreement.
A conversation about fit
Start with the decision you need to make.
Send a short, nonconfidential brief. An enquiry is not a booking, an adviser match or a commitment to proceed. You do not need to join the community.
